EYC/Youth |

EYC is for youth from 6th grade to 12th grade. We meet regularly during the school year from 5 to 7 PM on Sunday nights. We play games at church but also head off-campus to places like the Notre Dame campus. We serve dinner every few months at the South Bend Center for the Homeless and perform other service projects around the church. EYC also sponsors dinners at church including a Valentine’s Day and Christmas dinner.
There is also Sunday school for junior and senior high youth during the school year. Grades 7 through 12 are welcome as meet Sunday mornings from 9 to 10 AM. In the past, we looked at a number of Old Testament characters including Daniel, David, Gideon, and Moses.
EYC is led by youth minister Brian Miller. Brian has served as youth minister since August 2005 and was a volunteer during the 2004-2005 school year. Daniel Smith volunteers his time with the group. He has served as a youth minister from Fall 2004 to Spring 2007. He also served as a volunteer during the 2003-2004 school year. Brian and Daniel are both graduate students at Notre Dame.
We have a weekly email list that includes a recap of prior events, an upcoming EYC calendar, and a devotional thought for the day. Contact the church office to get on this list.

Upcoming EYC Calendar: During the school year, we try to meet every Sunday night. The normal plan is to meet at the church from 5 to 7 PM Sunday evenings.
Oct 12 5-7 PM: EYC meets at St. Michael’s to help with groundskeeping tasks. Bring work gloves, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and a willingness to work. And, there will be pizza for those who help.
Oct 19 5-7 PM: EYC meets at St. Michaels.
Oct 26 5-7 PM: An All Saints Day themed EYC at St. Michael’s. |
